Climate Change and Environmental Conflict in The Lake Chad Region

Environmental conflicts manifest in different ways, with context-specific impacts on the affected regions. Emerging as a crucial point of national and international security, issues climate change have taken fore. In Lake Chad Region, more people become susceptible to change, given poverty level, unemployment inadequate governance these Christened world’s most complicated humanitarian disaster, receding lake which has served major source livelihood time past is now haven for violent conflict extremist groups.
